Crypto analyst EGRAG Crypto has revisited XRP’s long-term market structure, presenting a chart that filters out candlestick movements to focus on broader technical trends.
In an X post, the analyst explained that the chart highlights XRP’s interaction with the 44-week moving average (44 WMA) and the Bull Market Support Band, two indicators he believes have consistently appeared around major market bottoms.
According to EGRAG, removing short-term price fluctuations allows investors to observe recurring patterns that have historically developed before significant market advances. The analyst stated that these recurring formations may offer clues about XRP’s current position in the market cycle and the possible path ahead.
Historical Bottoming Formations Take Center Stage
In his analysis, EGRAG pointed to several bottoming structures that have appeared throughout XRP’s trading history. He noted that previous cycles featured a double bottom followed by a higher low, a triple bottom with a higher low, and additional variations involving double-bottom formations.
The analyst suggested that XRP may now be entering another version of the same historical setup. Specifically, he highlighted what he believes could be a double bottom with a lower low, a formation that has similarities to previous long-term market structures.
The accompanying chart illustrates these historical phases, emphasizing the relationship between XRP’s price, the 44 WMA, and the Bull Market Support Band. It also includes a long-rising yellow trendline, which EGRAG identified as a significant level of technical support that has remained relevant across multiple market cycles.
Two Main Scenarios for XRP Through 2027
Based on the current structure, EGRAG outlined two primary scenarios that he believes deserve close attention.
The first possibility is that XRP forms a double bottom with a lower low around December 2026. Under this scenario, the asset would revisit lower levels before establishing what the analyst considers a major long-term bottom.
The second possibility envisions a double bottom with a higher low around July 2027. Rather than declining below the previous bottom, XRP would hold a stronger support level before potentially continuing its broader trend.
EGRAG also discussed a third outcome, although he described it as less direct than the first two. He stated that an extended triple-bottom formation could still develop. However, because the long-term yellow trendline continues to rise over time, any future bottom associated with that structure would likely occur at a substantially higher price level than previous lows.
The chart labels this long-term trendline as a major point of contact, reinforcing its importance within the analyst’s broader technical outlook.
Additional Analysis Available
While the X post focused on the broader historical framework, EGRAG noted that the chart serves as a simplified view by removing candlestick noise.
Rather than making a definitive prediction, the analyst presented multiple scenarios based on historical price behavior and emphasized how XRP’s interaction with the 44 WMA, the Bull Market Support Band, and the rising long-term trendline could help determine which pattern ultimately develops over the coming months.
