Hey, I’ve been hopping across chains lately, and I keep running into situations where the data “lags.” The RPC node’s status is clearly fine, but the Subgraph data just won’t load for hours—so I end up staring at the screen waiting, my heart pounding. What if the bridge’s liquidity suddenly gets drained, and I just freeze there on the spot?

In reality, it’s usually that the indexer in the background is running too slowly, or the RPC is rate-limited—too many queued requests and responses can’t keep up. Once the new L1/L2 launched and people were moving in to pull TVL, the complaints from old users about the “buy the dip, sell high” noise seemed to go on nonstop. For me, with the data stuck, even my hands feel a half-beat late—it’s really headache-inducing.

What I fear most isn’t losing money—it’s liquidity suddenly drying up, and realizing you’re stuck in the middle, with no clear way forward or back. That’s what really makes your chest tighten.

Forget it, I’ll leave it at this for now—I’ll think later about how to optimize the route.
