Gas is spiking again today, and the mempool is queuing up like the morning rush-hour subway. Everyone understands it, really: when the network is congested, your transaction is like checking out at a supermarket—someone cuts the line (by bidding up the price), someone moves slowly (by setting gas too low), and some get kicked out altogether (wrong nonce). Last time I made the mistake of setting a low gas, and I ended up waiting for half an hour, before having to manually speed it up. It was brutal.

Lately, the funding rate has been at an extreme, and the community has been arguing nonstop. Some say a reversal is coming, while others think it’s just going to keep pushing the bubble. Me? I’m not really confident enough to gamble on a reversal right now. I’ll just check what’s going on in the mempool first—if the block-packing rhythm looks off, I’ll pull out. Anyway, I’m just a small retail trader; just don’t let me be cannon fodder.
