Wait. Wait for the gas to come down, wait for the confirmation signal, wait for yourself to think it through.

This morning I watched the mempool for half an hour, seeing a bunch of people in the congestion frantically bidding up prices. My hands were itching. But when I think back on the ones I chased before, nine times out of ten it was just a hot-headed impulse driven by emotions—waiting for the thought of “wanting to make money,” not real data backing it up. Anyway, on-chain tools are basically just about speed; but the whole tag system sometimes gets brushed through after a scrubbing bot tweaks things a bit—then it’s lagging and inaccurate. If you trust it, you’re more likely to get into trouble.

Forget it. Wait for this hassle to end first, then wait for the pullback, then wait until you’re calm. Whether your position can be pushed forward or not—you know best.
