Just after midnight, I was watching gas fluctuations, when I noticed a whole line of new contracts being deployed in a rush. It was the same old setup—testnet incentives plus points expectations—paired with speculation about whether the mainnet will issue tokens. The hype comes fast and disappears just as quickly. To be honest, with this kind of rotation pace, someone like me who runs half a step late has already taken losses several times. Every time I see a new term get spammed across the screen, I rush in—then look back and realize the hotspot has already moved on to the next one, and I end up being pulled in as the liquidity.

Now I’m slowly learning: let the hype run for a while first, then check whether the on-chain data really shows sustained inflows of big money, instead of it being propped up purely by community sentiment. Anyway, attention is limited. Rather than letting myself be pushed along, I’d rather find a corner I can understand and quietly wait there.
