I’m not very good at chasing the latest hype, but recently the messages in the group are indeed so nonstop that it’s genuinely annoying. The moment I open my phone, there are hundreds of unread messages. KOLs hype everything up to the heavens one after another—new L1/L2 projects offer incentives, and screenshots showing TVL pulling in get spammed everywhere. Meanwhile, old users just hang around to complain about “buying high and selling low.”

To be honest, I really understand that kind of impulse: when you see other people making money, your mind itches, and one slip of the finger and you click. But the longer you watch gas fees, the more you notice a pattern—every time group messages explode and the KOLs collectively chant “it’s definitely going up,” network congestion on-chain becomes especially obvious, and the packaging fee also jumps right along with it.

Anyway, I won’t follow that rhythm. I’d rather slow down and check the packaging logs first. For people who end up paying for impulse, it’s usually not the information itself—it’s the fact that you’re in a hurry to confirm you didn’t miss out.
