Just checked the contract approvals again before going to sleep, and revoked a few that I don’t use often.

How should I put it—this is like locking the door before bed. Locking it doesn’t guarantee something won’t happen, but if you don’t, what if someone slips in in the middle of the night?
I used to think, “Leave unlimited approvals there anyway; the wallet doesn’t have much money.” But after seeing more post-incident write-ups—like losing gas to an attack or having small tokens siphoned away—I realized that laziness like this really can’t be trusted.
Especially recently, when I’ve been looking at on-chain data tools and tagging systems that have been criticized for being “laggy” or for having “data that can be packaged,” I feel even more that you can’t rely too much on external labels that look safe. It really just takes a few minutes to check the contract balance and permissions yourself.
Build your position slowly—don’t let someone steal the dirt while you’re sleeping.
