I’ve been sleeping okay lately—maybe because I set up a DCA timer that automatically runs in the middle of the night. In the past, when I used to go all-in at once, my mind was full of panic. Watching the swings would make me wonder whether I should add more or just run away. Honestly, I’m just baffled—I kept messing with myself. Now I’ve got a grid sitting there. Even though the profit comes slowly, at least I don’t have to stare at the charts. I’ll occasionally take a quick look to see whether gas is going up again—yeah, it’s jammed. If it is, I quickly change the orders and adjust the slippage.
Lately, all those big on-chain transfers—people keep jumping on them and interpreting them as “smart money.” I really don’t buy it. Who knows whether the exchanges’ hot and cold wallets are just being moved around. Anyway, I’m not convinced. It’s better if I write my own script to watch the packaging rhythm. If anything looks off, I pull back a few orders, so I don’t end up being treated like a piece of naive retail liquidity.
Sometimes I feel like I’m too dependent on these machines, but honestly, it’s also not that bad. At least I don’t wake up in the middle of the night to check the market. In any case, given my personality, I guess I’m still better off with machines reminding me—so I don’t get itchy and do something stupid.
