After I started keeping track of my interactions with airdrops, I’ve actually become a lot less anxious. Honestly, before, when I followed the hype and rushed into hot projects, I burned quite a bit on gas fees—only to look back and realize it was all “getting anti-raped” in return. Now, before every interaction, I check the protocol’s core logic first: whether the token is purely for governance, whether the treasury’s lock-up time is actually set, and whether it’s a legitimate application—not some disguised miner in a suit.

The crash from that chain game wave was a lesson: if you only look at the art style and don’t check the inflation model and the studio-mining “death spiral,” then you’re only going to end up being set up to get trapped. I’m not recording this to turn it into a tutorial; I’m doing it just to remind myself—so the next time I see a similar pattern, I can recognize where the trap is right away.

I don’t know what you think, but for me, I’d rather move slower, do fewer interactions, and not end up finding in my post-mortem that I paid another tuition fee again.
