Lately, I’ve been seeing all kinds of narratives about parallelism and sharding—the technical logic sounds pretty convincing. But honestly, what I’m always watching is fund safety and the exit path. Sure, it’s exciting, but once on-chain liquidity gets fragmented, if there’s a smart contract vulnerability or something goes wrong with a cross-chain bridge, you won’t even have time to run.

These days I’ve been hearing that a certain region is raising taxes, with compliance tightening as well. When people around me enter or exit funds, you can clearly see them hesitate, and their expectations have become quite delicate. Instead of chasing those new chains with high TPS, I’m less willing to jump in. I’d rather stay with a familiar ecosystem—slower is fine as long as I can sleep peacefully.

What I learned isn’t just techniques; it’s respect for liquidity. No matter how strong the structure is, and no matter how smooth the story sounds—when the exit path is unclear, the one who can get out faster is the real winner.
