Ugh, recently deposits and withdrawals have been getting a bit annoying. I just saw some news about a certain region raising taxes, and my heart sank again… Anyway, with my little position, I really don’t dare put everything on an exchange. I’ve been using a hardware wallet for a while—keeping hot and cold separated is indeed reassuring—but every time I have to go through the multisig confirmation process, I find it tedious. Social recovery? Honestly, for someone like me—a lone wolf with only a few friends I trust—it’s better to buy a couple more cold wallets and rotate them. Since the total amount isn’t that big, I’ll start with hardware plus a backup seed phrase, sealed up and put in a bank safe deposit box. Once one day my assets double, I’ll look into multisig and on-chain custody.
