Just saw that another major public chain is doing an upgrade, and the group chat has started guessing whether ecosystem projects might take the opportunity to run off. 😂 Honestly, I’ve always found the concept of modular blockchains pretty interesting—but for regular users like us, what can we actually feel?

To be blunt, when I use on-chain apps, the most annoying thing is when gas fees suddenly spike or transactions get stuck. Modularization separates execution, settlement, and data availability—sounds complicated, but in practice it means things feel smoother in terms of interaction, and you don’t have to keep staring at the mempool queue. 💆‍♂️

And if there really is migration this time, projects with a modular architecture might have lower switching costs, since the underlying logic is more flexible. Of course, I’m just speculating. Anyway, I’ll keep watching a few small-but-great apps to see if I can pick up some handy tools.

That’s it for now—I’m going back to research my “Open Coconut” methodology.
