Iran’s Revolutionary Guard confirms attack on an oil tanker, warns against cooperating with invaders

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said in a statement on social media on the 14th that, a few hours earlier, two massive oil tankers were “maliciously manipulated” by the United States, with their navigation systems shut down. Ignoring multiple warnings from Iran, the tankers endangered navigation safety in the waterway and chose to cross a minefield. They were ultimately hit by the IRGC Navy and lost power. The statement said that cooperating with the aggressors is pointless—these aggressors came from thousands of kilometers away with the intent to harm the rights of people in the region. Crossing the minefield will bring no results other than regret, losses, delays in reopening the Strait of Hormuz, and triggering a global energy crisis. (Xinhua)
