Just finished hopping to a new chain and snatched a whitelist spot—then I found out the task platform also requires verifying the interaction logs on two other chains… it’s all detours and detours, and the fees are almost catching up to the gas 🫠

Now farming is starting to feel more and more like working: first study how the tasks work, then check the scoring rules, and also protect against Sybil detection—basically, they’re training us to become compliant “tool attendants” in reverse. A few days ago I saw someone get flagged as a Sybil because the cross-chain timing didn’t line up, and the appeal didn’t help at all.

Once rate-cut expectations hit, money started moving everywhere and there were also voices for “risk on,” but did you notice that in the cross-chain track, those task platforms actually started to lower weights? They always do some kind of scoring system and limit quantities… I’m honestly afraid they’ll suddenly drain liquidity or change the rules. Either way, before doing tasks, first check the lock-up period and exit mechanism—otherwise it’s all wasted effort.

What I learned wasn’t technique, but how to admit defeat in an ecosystem that’s so competitive it feels like a job. Don’t chase that last bit of extra reward—get off the ship first.
