The weather today is unbearably stuffy. Even after turning on the air conditioner, I still feel irritated and on edge—probably because I’ve been messing with projects on-chain recently. The more I do, the more guilty and uneasy I feel. I just went back and checked my mnemonic phrase backup again. It feels like I’m putting extra protection on my wallet, but the truth is I’m just timid—writing it down a few more times is better than risking forgetting.

Recently on TG, I saw someone share a phishing site. I clicked through, and the page was so well-made it looked even more like the real thing—I almost believed it. As for this “signature authorization” thing, in the end it’s just handing your own key over, especially with dApps of unknown origin: once you click, you’re basically waiting to have everything drained. Old players always say, “Don’t take the last baton.” I figure this safety red line is also the last baton—once you get cut, there isn’t even any regret medicine to take.

Anyway, I’ve developed the habit now: don’t connect your wallet on public networks, don’t click random links, and review the authorization details before signing. Sometimes it’s a hassle and I want to take shortcuts, but once you get phished for real, your mindset just falls apart. Forget it—let’s call it a day. I’m going to grab a cold cola and calm down.
