I was just about to check some on-chain data, but the Subgraph got stuck in pending again. The RPC side is rate-limiting, and it directly served me a 429. I was thinking that these days even just checking a pool’s depth means you’re competing with the server for bandwidth—so is the indexer lagging because of cross-instance requests, or are the nodes collectively slacking? Forget it. By the time it syncs, it’ll be too late—everything will be over.

Lately, the whole privacy coins and mixers drama has been getting noisy again. Honestly, I used to think mixing was kind of cool, but now the compliance boundaries feel like walking a tightrope. I can’t be bothered with all that—I’d rather spend an extra three minutes waiting for the transaction to be confirmed, and read the contract a couple more times. No matter how safe it is, I don’t mind the hassle. It’s for peace of mind—minor trouble is better than getting startled awake in the middle of the night.
