Hey, meme coins—there’s no denying they’re lively, but every time I see those candlestick charts with violent spikes and sudden drops, I can’t help but feel uneasy. Lately, with the cross-chain bridge being stolen and the oracle giving abnormal quotes, by the time everything is confirmed, the price had surged by several multiples and then dropped back again—now that’s really something.

Anyway, for a laid-back trader like me, it’s not losing money that I fear most—it’s losing control. I go in just because someone spins a flashy narrative, but the timing is totally out of my hands, and I end up being dragged along by my emotions—that’s the most uncomfortable part. For short-term trades, I basically only do low-frequency, high-win-rate setups: I set stop-losses in advance, and even after the story is over, I don’t go chasing the final tail. To put it simply, protect the principal first—then I can wait for that best entry point. Forget it—better to lose a little than to think it’s a win.
