Just saw an on-chain address labeled “smart money.” When I checked the fund flows, it turned out all the capital was being pulled out from some meme pool. In plain terms, after retail bagholders come in, they just change the label and keep shouting trade signals under a new shell. With the current market, even the old players are advising newcomers not to take the last baton—I can only laugh bitterly. How much can you trust an address profile? Anyway, I trust my own stop-loss line more now.
Newbie misunderstanding: When I first started, I saw address tags like “institution” and “grand track,” and I thought it meant you could just lie back and earn.
Current understanding: In plain terms, on-chain data is like Cinderella’s slipper—whether it fits only becomes clear once you’ve tested with your own position.
