Just lit a cigarette and scrolled to this, and my friend sent me the line: “Stablecoins are up, and ETFs are also flowing in—does this mean it’s going to go bullish?” I froze for a while—not because he’s wrong, but because it feels like everyone now, the moment they see the relevant data, they rush to draw straight lines.

Back in 2016, during the MKR hype, some people also said, “Giant whales are starting to act.” But really—off-exchange capital and the rebound in stablecoin supply are definitely tied to market sentiment; correlation isn’t causation. Over these past couple of years, ETF money sometimes comes in and sometimes runs off, and on-chain there are clearly a bunch of “fake prosperity” waiting in the wings. Anyway, I’ve learned my lesson: when replaying news, I’ll keep an extra bit of vigilance.

Quick side gripe: with this whole “modular blockchain” thing, developers are shouting about it like crazy. My friend looked at it for a long time and said, “What does this have to do with me using a DApp?” Users genuinely look confused. I won’t jump into the hype either. I’ll try new things with a small position—everything else can take its own course.
