To be honest, I’ve been a bit disoriented lately by all the hype around parallel execution and sharding narratives. Technically, there really is something there, but every time I see this kind of excitement, my first thought is: how do my assets stay safe while I exit? After a few cross-chain bridge hacks, and then everyone waiting for confirmations after oracle price quotes went abnormal—those moments were really unsettling. As for me, no matter how many new chains I plan around, I’ll prepare the same three things first: keep the private key offline, set up multisig to guard the doors, and figure out the exit path in advance. Don’t wait until the tide goes out to realize you’re not wearing pants. Light criticism—this is just my own everyday anxiety.
