I just finished translating an on-chain AI Agent contract. Honestly, when I saw those automated trading logics written so flamboyantly, but the gas fee settings were like a roller coaster… I don’t know if it was done intentionally to show off or if they simply didn’t consider ordinary users. 🤔

Speaking of privacy, beginners always think on-chain is “anonymous.” In reality, every step of your actions is on display in the ledger—it’s just that nobody knows who you are behind that address. I think rather than obsessing over anonymity, you should clarify the “compliance boundaries.” For example, when a project team says they need to meet compliance, it often just means making the data transparent enough that you can see the balances of each contract address—but you still have to judge the risk yourself. Anyway, my approach right now is: enter in batches, don’t put all your eggs in one basket. Water it like growing flowers—if you overwater, the roots will rot.

Recently, the AI Agent narrative has been blowing up, but the safety details really need to be dug into yourself. Sometimes you see an automated trading bot running happily, you click in, and find that the contract permissions aren’t locked—that’s the real kind of “privacy in the nude.” In any case, as I always say: it’s easy to get something onto the chain, but hard to take it off—leave some room for yourself.
