I took a look at the NFT side tonight, and the royalty and secondary liquidity arguments are going at it again—everyone has their own story. Honestly, as a small-position player like me, what I’m really afraid of is floating losses pulling at my nerves. Do you guys feel the same? When you make money, you’re in the clouds mentally—but when you lose money, even just a little, it’s like stepping on cotton with your foot, tossing and turning all night.
Later I thought maybe it’s because floating losses are “realized,” while floating gains are still just “paper” numbers. Positions are like tending flowers—you can’t rush it, and you’re also afraid of overwatering. Next time I plan to force myself to close the price chart, go for a walk, or read a book for fun. What about you—when you’re in floating losses, what do you rely on to get through it?
