I just looked around and everyone is talking about parallel execution and sharding—pretty lively. It’s like overnight every public chain is supposed to become a supercomputer. But to be honest, as someone who likes digging into less popular chains, the thing I fear most is narrative hype being too inflated and then the exit speed can’t keep up. Anyway, I’m starting to look at where the liquidity is, whether the exit routes are clear, and only then deciding whether to go in and dig up a couple of shovelfuls.

Recently, I saw on-chain data tools and tagging systems get pulled apart—people said they’re lagging and can even be deliberately used to mislead. That reminded me: the chain you’re watching, even if its sharding sounds like the sky’s the limit—if the official bridges aren’t done properly and the data isn’t transparent, then if something goes wrong, you’d basically be fumbling around in the mine with your eyes closed. Put simply: the narrative belongs to others, but the wallet is yours. Figure out how to get out safely first—that’s more real than anything else.
