To be honest, I saw news again last night about a cross-chain bridge being stolen, and my heart skipped a beat. Earlier, I had authorized a bunch of DeFi contracts, with all their allowances set to infinite—I was just trying to be quick back then. Now that I think about it, it’s really frightening. My current habit is: once I’ve used a protocol, I go in right away to revoke the permissions, like checking the doors and windows before going to bed. After all, when oracle price quotes are abnormal, you never know which contract will be targeted next. Anyway, I treat revoking permissions as seriously as sleep—so I don’t get woken up in the middle of the night by a liquidation text message.
