Stop-loss stuff is really the same as a breakup. Even though you know cutting it early and getting out sooner is the best— you still keep thinking, “Give it a little more time and see if it rebounds”… and in the end, the longer you drag it out, the higher the interest costs, until your mindset gets ground down more and more. Last night I went back through the audit report of the new protocol again. I’d meant to look for whether there were any new opportunities, but my head was filled with positions I hadn’t cut cleanly before. Honestly, I’m done.
Lately I’ve been watching those expected rate cuts and the back-and-forth with the U.S. dollar index, and risk assets are getting a bit jumpy too—it feels like market sentiment is pretty synchronized. But we don’t know whether we should trust, “This time is different.” Anyway, I’ve remembered it now: admitting you were wrong is like deleting chat records—delete them and don’t look back.
My roommate just walked by my screen a moment ago, glanced at it, and said, “Your stop-loss speed is slower than how fast I delete pictures of an ex.” Forget it. No more talking—I’m going to watch on-chain data.
