Just muted the group chat—it’s so much cleaner now. Before, I kept refreshing the group messages and saw chain-game project teams over there bragging about how solid their inflation model is. But the output was way more than demand, the price crashed, and the pool basically collapsed… To put it bluntly, no matter how beautifully you design the economic model, if there’s no demand, it’s a dead end. A lot of projects are like this now: emissions roll out fast like free candy, but who would be willing to take the bag from someone else?

Lately, people in the group have still been arguing about whether privacy coins and mixers are compliant. It feels like both sides are pretty extreme, and it’s driving me nuts. In any case, as a small retail investor like me, I’ll first check the audit reports before deciding whether to get involved—so I don’t end up getting chopped and still have to take the blame. I’ve been paying attention to modular privacy as well, but I don’t dare to act recklessly either. If you stay in the water too long, you still have to keep your guard up.
