Stop loss-cutting—just give it up. It’s exactly like a breakup. Don’t drag it out without cutting, staring at it every day; the more you watch, the more mentally exhausting it gets. And you’re still eating the fees, burning them blindly. Admit the loss and leave sooner—you’ll save on hassle and reduce the interest cost too. Out of sight, out of mind.

The macro situation has also been pretty confusing lately. Rate-cut expectations keep getting pulled back and forth, and the US Dollar Index and risk assets have somehow been rising and falling together, leaving people feeling a bit baffled. Anyway, after I lowered my expectations, I actually felt lighter—I don’t have to guess what the market wants to do every day. That’s it for now—staying alive is better than anything.
