Recently, these “freebie-hunting” task platforms keep looping you through tasks, and it’s starting to feel like clocking in at work. You set up a task, and it’s all rating scores, witch/Sybil detection, and filling out a bunch of forms—honestly, it feels more exhausting than writing weekly reports. Anyway, I really hate this kind of mechanical operation—turning freebie hunting into something like social insurance and housing fund contributions.
To be honest, I’d rather put my effort into scanning new protocols’ “water” and see whether there’s any real “sweet nectar.” As for those complex task workflows on the market, put simply, they just add barriers for users—making it easier to overlook security issues. Recently, phishing links have been everywhere, and hardware wallets are out of stock. So even if you try to claim an “airdrop,” you still have to make sure your address hasn’t been stolen. Isn’t that annoying?
I treat complexity as the enemy, so keep things as simple as possible—don’t let a task platform drag you around.
