I tried it once—using a testnet to farm points. At first, I thought, well, it’s just practice; I can just click around casually. Then the project team suddenly said they needed a snapshot. Everyone in the group chat was calculating costs versus benefits, and I took it seriously too—I even went out of my way to set up a few small alternate accounts to make interactions. Later, when I looked back, I thought that if real money went in, it would be a real headache: Gas costs, opportunity costs, and that kind of “can’t stop” pressure. In the end, my rule for myself is—if a testnet requires an investment of more than an hour of dedicated setup or cross-chain steps, I’ll set a “time stop-loss,” for example, limiting it to no more than three days of messing around. In any case, early airdrops are basically a bet on probability, not charity.

Also, lately I’ve been seeing people in the community constantly刷 (complaining) about sequencer issues and MEV unfairness. Honestly, when I was doing testnets, I felt that node ordering was like a black box quietly extracting profit—retail users only realize it after the fact. If you’re not used to it, you still have to get used to it.
