Every now and then there are supposed “smart money” spikes and coins moving out of hot and cold wallets—someone analyzes it like crazy, all fired up. I’m just slow to react and completely can’t keep up with that pace. But I did notice something: social mining and all kinds of point badges have been popping up again, and people in the group stay up late and grind tasks just to push their levels. Honestly, I think it’s pretty pointless. Spending all that time for a badge that nobody knows what it can actually be exchanged for—then later the project team might change the rules, and you might not even get a thing. I’m not regretting the outcome; I’m regretting the staying up late for these points and missing out on a good sleep. Anyway, in the long run, it’s the project’s fundamentals and narrative that are worth watching patiently. As for badges, just leave it to fate. 😴
