Back when I used to chase pumps and cut positions in panic, I always thought option buyers could go all-in and make a killing—only to realize that time value is constantly siphoning profits away. Now I get it: the seller is the one calmly sitting at the fishing spot collecting rent. As long as time passes, it automatically works for you. Lately, worries about sell-pressure as the unlock calendar approaches have been flaring up again. Honestly, rather than gambling on direction, it’s better to be a seller and just stay alive on time value—at least you don’t have to stare at the chart and tense up every day.
