I’ve been lurking for a long time, and I couldn’t help saying something after seeing people in the group cry every day about not being able to hold spot, getting liquidated on futures. Position management, put simply, is one sentence: **Don’t let any single trade be so big that it keeps you up at night.** I used to lose my head too—I always wanted to go all-in. Then when the price went up, I was afraid of the drop and couldn’t hold; when it went down, I panicked and cut. Later I realized it’s better to split your capital into several parts: treat each part as if you’d lost it, and then the remaining money is like it doesn’t exist. Lately things have been tighter; all the nonsense around compliance and taxes has been messing with deposit/withdrawal expectations, and my mindset just broke, so my trading became distorted. Anyway, I’m only testing with small amounts now. If I lose, I’ll treat it as tuition; if I win, I’ll treat it as a pleasant surprise. I’m not counting on getting rich off this—in fact, I sleep much better now.
