Just saw the funding rate spike to a terrifying level again, and my first thought was, “Should I rush in to grab some counterparty orders?” But after thinking it through, I decided against it. Anyway, I’m the kind of laid-back player—chasing high funding rates would probably keep me up at night, while dodging the volatility lets me sleep more soundly. As for all those things like re-staking and shared security, the controversy of them being “matryoshka dolls” is also pretty significant. The idea of stacked returns sounds great, but the more steps in the middle, the more my heart keeps hesitating. At the end of the day, with trading, we’re not really here to “defeat” the market—we’re more like “practicing” how to coexist peacefully with volatility. For now, that’s it: calmly collect the staking rewards and spend the weekend steadily.
