To be honest, the whole issue with multi-chain wallets is something I’m also pretty headache-inducing. Back then I thought it was cool to have one wallet handle everything across all chains. But now all kinds of L1s and L2s keep popping up, and your assets are scattered into fragments like you sprinkled sesame seeds everywhere—you can’t even be bothered to look.

Recently I’ve started organizing things the right way. There are just two principles: keep the chains I use most in a hot wallet for interaction—anyway I don’t feel safe sleeping on it. For anything I’m staking long-term, everything goes into a cold wallet; I’m not going to stare at it every day.

As for those new L1s/L2s that roll out incentives and try to pull in TVL, veteran users complain about “mine-to-sell.” I personally think: if you can mine, mine. If you can’t, just pretend you’re dead—that’s fine too. Asset fragmentation is annoying, but then again, if it means you can earn some interest while lying down, it’s still okay. It’s better than chasing hot topics every day.

Anyway, that’s my current state: for those scattered assets in my wallet, if I can fit them into a single interface, I won’t open more. If not, I’ll just put a tracker on it. That’s it—*yawn*…
