Ugh, I really can’t keep up with the group chat news lately—it’s 99+ all the time, and everyone keeps shouting “get in,” “all-in.” Even the KOLs are coming up with all kinds of grand narratives. Honestly, sometimes I open the chat and feel dizzy, and with my hand shaking I end up tapping along. Looking back, in which moment of impulse wasn’t I being pushed along by all these messages? A group mate says “others are fearful while I’m greedy,” and the KOL says “a once-in-history opportunity”—in the end, I became the last one holding the bag.

The macro situation has also been pretty weird recently. Rate-cut expectations are constantly being traded, and the U.S. dollar index and risk assets are actually rising and falling together—those textbook relationships have completely fallen apart. In any case, the market right now is driven by emotions: whoever has more information and louder calls can lead people into a ditch. Instead of endlessly scrolling through group chats, it’s better to sort out the on-chain data myself—at least then I’ll know whether gas fees rising is because real activity is happening or because of wash trading/volume manipulation. Forget it—I’m not talking anymore; I’m going to tweak the routing parameters first. Saving on gas is the real deal.
