I just saw the group members arguing again about whether PFPs and membership cards are about brand faith or just chasing trends… For me, I’m more of a laid-back “Buddha-like” type—I feel long-term value and short-term hype are not simply black and white. For example, that certain blue-chip PFP: the community building is pretty good, and fluctuations in the floor price don’t mean the applications in its ecosystem are no longer valid—if anything, the trading volume that keeps getting posted everywhere might be the real emotional premium. Now a lot of people equate things like ETF inflows and risk-on in US stocks with crypto’s rise and fall. In the short term, it does boost things, but valuations also start to look way too unstable… Anyway, that’s my point: being able to sleep well after staking is the key, and for those long-term rights from memberships, let them be verified gradually—at least I’m not anxious.
