Just saw airdrop reminder pop up on my phone for a new project. I clicked in and found it was a parallel upgrade sharded testnet for a certain chain. Wow—this hype campaign really went all in. In the group, a bunch of people were shouting “Go go go” 😅. Honestly, I might’ve rushed in before, but lately I’ve been spooked by a few AI Agent automated trades. Seeing the red-dot prompt saying “Strategy execution successful,” then checking on-chain and turns out I burned through about half the gas, and my position shrank too……

On the security side, seriously—who’s actually taking the time to dig into the details, and who’s just selling the narrative. Look at the exit path and you’ll get it.

Today’s meeting also ran late by half an hour. In the middle, someone asked how assets would cross-chain after sharding. The leader just said, “There will be a plan later,” then skipped it……

Forget it. After the meeting, I’ll review it with a few friends. Anyway, I’ll focus on my own wallet first—don’t wait for the hype to die down and then realize you can’t get out.
