Deep Tide TechFlow message: On July 19, according to Coinglass data, Coinbase’s Bitcoin premium index has been in a negative premium range for two consecutive months (from May 19 to July 19, a total of 62 days). The latest value is -0.0633%. Previously, this index had been in a negative premium range for 40 consecutive days from January 16 to February 24 this year, setting the longest “continuous negative” record since the index was introduced, surpassing the roughly 30 days of continuous negative premium during the “1011 crash” period.

Historical data shows that prolonged negative premiums often coincide with U.S. institutional capital leaving the market, so short-term pullback pressure should be watched closely.
