The royalty issue has been argued about for a long time. The secondary market’s “fee siphoning” has been reduced, so creators’ income is lower—but I don’t think the platform has made much more either. It’s only when liquidity gets going that people show up. Lately, when funding rates are at extreme levels, everyone is once again guessing whether this is going to reverse or whether the bubble will keep getting squeezed. I’m not going to bother tracking it—I’ll just watch more slowly. In the long run, the creator ecosystem needs to be supported by real content value, not trading volume. Forget it—let’s call it here. I’m going to get back to work.
