7/19 strategy:

On the BTC daily chart, yesterday was a bullish candle with a relatively long body. The closing price was close to the session’s high, indicating strong buying power and that the prior rebound momentum has continued.

Recently, the price rebounded from the early-July low and formed a consolidation or pullback pattern within a short-term uptrend.

After the DIF line and DEA line formed a golden cross below the zero axis, they have continued moving upward. The DIF line has already crossed above the zero axis, and the DEA line is also about to cross above the zero axis. The MACD histogram is positive, showing strong short-term upside momentum. However, the latest day’s MACD histogram has slightly contracted, suggesting that the upward momentum may be slowing.

Trading advice:

BTC: sell/short down from 65,000–64,700, target 63,700–62,700

ETH: sell/short down from 1,870–1,850, target 1,800–1,750

The daily chart shows a bullish candlestick with a long real body, but no obvious upper wick, indicating that buyers are indeed strong. However, the contraction of the MACD histogram should be watched closely, as a short-term pullback is possible. If you consider shorting, do so cautiously and set a stop-loss.

MACD histogram contraction is indeed something to watch out for, but shorting still requires waiting for confirmation signals—don’t rush into the position.

This analysis seems on point, but I’ll wait and see for the first move.
