I think my most valuable trait isn’t that I win again and again, but that I lose again and again—and then, rising from the ruins I’ve faced. I really like a song called “Brave Heart”.

For someone like me who has gone through three bull-and-bear cycles, making money only to lose it all, then making it again only to lose it again—someone who’s had two highs and two lows—I know that when fate throws me into the depths, don’t forget that the seed is gathering strength beneath the darkness, preparing to break through the soil. All that lying low is for the moment of blooming, which is as thrilling as it is earth-shattering. When the whole world questions my persistence, I’ll remember those longings that burn in the dark—they will ultimately turn into wings at dawn, carrying you over every seemingly insurmountable wall, and flying toward poetry and the distance!
