But I think the on-chain builders and bundles are what you should pay more attention to—retail users don’t need to understand their underlying logic, but you do need to know that this can make your slippage worse, or cause you to suffer a loss in a totally inexplicable way when your transaction gets front-run. Anyway, I’ve been burned myself. Now when I see a tx with a bundle identifier, I just steer clear. Honestly, I don’t regret the outcome—I regret that I didn’t take a couple more looks at what was happening on-chain before I quickly hit confirm. It’s pretty dumb, but it’s also a lesson. Keep your understanding simple—don’t pretend to know everything, and don’t fully ignore it either.
