Abstract generation in progress
Golden Finance reported that on July 19, Hyperliquid co-founder Jeff Yan said in a VALR podcast interview that a candid criticism facing the current crypto and fintech space is that it has failed to attract enough of the very top startup talent. He believes that amid the AI boom and the pressure to pursue social prestige, the smartest young people often do not know what they should do to make the biggest impact, leading to very few choosing to join the field.
Jeff Yan said that fundamentally rebuilding financial engineering from first principles and turning academic concepts into scalable market design is an extraordinary thing. He called on the younger generation not to only look at the superficial value of things, but to see the real challenges the world is facing and to take part in this incredible on-chain financial renaissance.
