After scrolling through a bunch of social mining and points activities in the early morning, I’ll be honest—it feels a bit dizzy. Seeing a wall of badges, identities, and levels, it feels like I’m playing some huge MMO, but the rewards are just air. I’ve also chased after some “junk coins” before and already took a few lessons, so I’m getting more and more wary of things that are basically “effort traded for points”—to put it bluntly, the biggest investment is your time. The late-night tasks you grind out may only give you a string of code, and when liquidity gets pulled, it goes to zero. The narratives around modular blockchains and the DA layer—developers talk about them with gusto—yet as a user, I just… feel completely lost. Anyway, I’m not going to chase it for now. These days I’d rather keep myself in check with ultra-simple rules: don’t drain your energy for badges, control your costs, and don’t get carried away.
