Honestly, I’m getting more and more timid about cross-chain bridges. I used to look at those multisigs and oracles and they seemed pretty safe—then once they got drained, it was tens of millions. Laughable. It’s honestly safer than those absurd meme avatar things I bought (at least I lose more slowly). Lately everyone keeps saying “wait for confirmation” before there’s consensus—anyway, for me, cross-chain always means waiting for a dozen or twenty blocks. Even if it takes a bit more time, I’m not in a rush.

Later, I set myself a limit and reminders: every time the cross-chain amount exceeds a certain number, the system will pop up a warning. When I first set it, I thought I was being pretty strict. Then the next day I found it annoying and wanted to lower it—then I also wanted to raise it again. I messed with it for half a day, but I still had to calm down first. Plainly speaking, I’m just afraid of my own impulsiveness—and I’m also afraid the bridge might suddenly act up. I don’t know if I’m right or wrong, but anyway, keep a laid-back mindset. Don’t be greedy for that little time difference.
