Over the past two days, just to organize last year’s trading records, I had to flip Excel upside down… Chasing on-chain records kept me going until 3 a.m.; I almost passed out.
Anyway, I’ve learned my lesson now. When I buy, I snap a screenshot on the spot, save the transaction hash—when it’s time to crunch my taxes at the end of the year while lying on the floor, it really saves me. I used to always think “I’ll deal with it later,” but then the end of the year came and I was beating my chest.
Seeing newcomers rush into those memes again, and old players constantly yelling “don’t grab the last baton”—honestly, I don’t really have much ground to lecture. I can only say:
**I only write one thing in my notes: Keep a trail so you won’t cry next year.**
In any case, tax forms are something you’ll have to face sooner or later—staying calm isn’t about avoiding it. It’s about dealing with it early, and sleeping easy early.
