ETF# Bitcoin ETFs close a second consecutive “green” week

From July 13 to 17, spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of $75.5 million. The products logged a second straight week of gains, according to data from SoSoValue.

Over the same period, Ethereum funds attracted $105.5 million, matching the momentum of digital-gold-based instruments

Crypto funds are demonstrating strength despite a negative stock market backdrop amid the renewed US and Iran conflict.

Bloomberg senior exchange analyst Eric Balchunas suggested that Bitcoin ETFs could follow the path of gold-based instruments: bursts of interest will be followed by sharp pullbacks and prolonged stagnation

“Both assets are wrappers for non-income-generating stores of value,” the expert noted.

He emphasized that such products depend especially on investor sentiment, since the underlying assets do not generate cash flow.

Recall that Glassnode noted that Bitcoin holders have stopped widely realizing losses. In past cycles, this kind of pattern has repeatedly preceded the start of an uptrend.
