Just talked with a friend about using AI agents to “farm” freebies. Honestly, while automation along many paths really is convenient nowadays, I still feel like some steps have to be watched by people—for example, when you run into a situation where the contract address suddenly changes, or when the transaction slippage isn’t the same as what you calculated. No matter how smart the AI is, it doesn’t know whether the gas in your pocket is strong enough to carry you through the whole night. Anyway, right now I only dare to let the AI run half the route—the wallet signature step is still something I do myself.
My mom asked me yesterday, “Can your AI robot help me grab a promotional coupon?” — I said it can help me grab coupons, but once it’s grabbed them, how to disappear and get away afterward is something you’ll have to learn yourself.
Oh right—recently, inflation in chain games has started going wild again. A few days ago, I saw a project that claims to be “farmers’ liberation.” The AI agent is more intense than real farmers. In the end, the output was cheaper than paper, and the studios and retail users lost money together. Sometimes I feel that no matter how you loop through all these rules to the end, you still need a living person in the middle to press the gas pedal. For now, I’ll just leave it at that. 😅
