I just flipped through a DAO voting proposal and found there are a lot of intricacies. On the surface, it’s about distributing incentives, but if you look closely at the voting power structure, there’s actually a fair bit of interest-driven tug-of-war behind the scenes. For example, some proposals say “incentivize community contributions,” but the voting weight is concentrated in the hands of a few big whales, while small retail holders’ votes basically don’t matter. Anyway, I’m the laid-back type of player—whether I vote or not makes little difference—so I’ll just sit back and watch the drama unfold.

Lately, people have been loudly calling for Meme coins, with celebrities leading the trades, and even friends advising newcomers not to be the last one to jump in. I’m thinking data is more reliable than intuition—because data doesn’t lie, while intuition can sometimes be emotionally driven. Personally, I trust on-chain data more, like the distribution of holdings and trading volume; at least it can give some clues. As for those popular coins, I don’t touch them—I’d rather stay safe.
