7.18 Wang Ye big pancake trading idea

Entry: rebound in the 64,300-64,600 area to do a short trade
Stop loss: above 65,100
Targets: 62,800-62,000
The situation in the Middle East hasn’t triggered a big wave; risk-aversion sentiment has been priced in early, so the rebound is extremely weak, with heavy resistance overhead. The daily chart is narrowing into a doji with a tight range, trading volume is quiet, and while MACD has a slight repair, the red bars continue to shrink. This rebound isn’t a reversal—any bounce up is an opportunity to short. The trend remains unchanged; go with the flow.

All set—wait for a pullback to open the position.

The Middle East situation hasn’t escalated—risk-off sentiment is fading, and BTC is getting soft. Any rebound is just a decoy—don’t chase longs.

Completely agree—this position is indeed short-favoring, and any rebound is an opportunity for shorts.

Technically, it really does look like the rebound has no real strength, but you also need to be careful about sudden “needle-like” spikes. Control your position well and don’t force a trade through the risk.

The outlook is clear. The daily doji, along with low trading activity, indicates strong market hesitation. The MACD red histogram shrinking is only a short-term rebound; the trend remains unchanged, so going short in line with the trend is fine. However, I personally think the downside room may be limited—there is support around 62,800, so take profit accordingly.
